There’s an estimated shortage of 50,000 cyber defence specialists in the UK, and up to two million worldwide. In July 2018 the UK Parliament's Joint Committee on the National Security Strategy published a report describing a ‘chronic’ lack of digital skills, even when it came to the Government’s own security bodies.
